mudita - sympathetic joy

Mudita is one of the Four Brahmaviharas or Sublime States / Divine Attitudes. Translated as 'sympathetic joy', mudita is the rejoicing in the prosperity and happiness of others. It is the opposite of jealousy and envy.

The Four Brahmaviharas are four attitudes or state of minds that are the answer to all social problems and are free from hate and anger.
