RAINBOW OF BLESSINGS |
Ever since December 2005, we have been writing and rewriting songs, trying new ways of composing Buddhist music, singing, performing, recording.. in short, dedicating our very best to celebrate Buddhism through music. What you now hold in your hands is a product of hard work, happiness and joy. We are indeed showered with multiple blessings of having worked with the best arrangers, singers, as well as designers and artiste. We are also thankful to receive guidance and wisdom from Sangha, Dhamma teachers and fellow musicians who continue to guide us to produce the best songs that we can, now and in the future. May we in turn have the opportunity to inspire and bless others with our happiness . We dedicate these songs to you! About the i.gemzA group of musically-inclined friends with diverse skills range from singing to songwriting, from musical arrangement to production. They came together to share a common passion for singing, songwriting and to share inspirational contemporary Buddhist hymns with the aim to promote the teachings of the Buddha through inspirational music, as well as to inspire spiritual friendship amongst listeners.
I.Gemz have performed in various local and international events, notably the Buddhist Arts and Culture Festival, the International Buddhist Youth Exchange, Global Conference on Buddhism, World Buddhist Conference, Sound of Compassion Fund Raising Concert for Haiti and more. Their songs are fresh and vibrant, subtly reflecting upon the Buddha's teachings and values.
