'Addhana' meaning 'Journey' in Pali, is the title for my 7th album. The choice for this word is a conscious one as it fittingly embodies the 'journey' I have undertaken thus far to spread the ancient message of the Lord Buddha through music. Indeed, this journey has been a fascinating experience. As someone who is musically untrained, but inspired to write, create and sing songs in praise of the Buddha and His wonderful Dhamma, I am uncertain as to where this musical inspiration is coming from. Nevertheless, I am truly grateful and thankful for this inspiration to put the Buddha's teachings into music. ~ MV Nathan~ |

About MV Nathan MV Nathan is renowned in his endeavor to spread the ancient message of the Lord Buddha through music. Seeds of this vision were sown back in 1992, when he was a member of the group “The Wayfarers”. Through patience and determination, Nathan produced his first album with the group 'Xpounders'.
Encouraged by his success with the first album, Nathan's inspiration saw the production of a string of Buddhist albums:
Nathan continues to perform at various events and dedicates his time to promoting the Buddha Dhamma through music. He is a practicing lawyer by profession. |
