This album has been a great joy to work on from the word go. I had the privilege of collaborating with many talented singers and musicians on this album. When I started this project, I had in mind to use the songs from the Buddhist Hymns book by Victor Wee as the book was readily available in most Buddhist centres. Not surprisingly, nine out of ten songs recorded in this album are taken from this Buddhist Hymns book. Some of these songs are well known and generally well loved, whereas the other tunes are my own compositions which I hope would inspire the listener to continue walking the Buddha’s path, in some small way ~ MV Nathan ~ This album also contains a beautiful CD recording of the Maha Mangala Sutta by Venerable K Nanda and a bonus tribute DVD to the late Venerable Dr K Sri Dhammananda. |

About MV Nathan MV Nathan is renowned in his endeavor to spread the ancient message of the Lord Buddha through music. Seeds of this vision were sown back in 1992, when he was a member of the group “The Wayfarers”. Through patience and determination, Nathan produced his first album with the group 'Xpounders'.
Encouraged by his success with the first album, Nathan's inspiration saw the production of a string of Buddhist albums:
Nathan continues to perform at various events and dedicates his time to promoting the Buddha Dhamma through music. He is a practicing lawyer by profession. CD 2
